Dennis was born in North Carolina, but raised

in Madison, Wisconsin.  From his college work

at the Universities of Wisconsin, Indiana and

Oregon, he received degrees in history and

guidance counseling.  At Luther Seminary

he earned an M.A. in church history.  After

serving as a guidance counselor in a Green Bay

high school, he worked at the University of

Wisconsin, and at Northwest Christian College

in Eugene, Oregon. 

Dennis came to Milligan College to teach in 1981,

and except for a stint in Brisbane, Australia at Kenmore College, he's been there ever since. He is an Associate Professor of History.  He began attending Grandview in 1981 and has served as Choir Director since 1990.
