Church and Community Class
Bob Hall, Class Coordinator/Teacher
The Bible drives this class to consider how the church can be the church in the community. This class includes adults of all ages and backgrounds. The age range offers you the chance to hear a wide variety of viewpoints.

Fireside Class
Fred Norris, Teacher
As a former professor of Christian Doctrine and missions, Fred Norris offers a scholar's insight into the scripture and into a global view of church history. You may be surprised, too, by how fun Church history can be.

Friendship Class
Various Teachers
This class has deep roots in the history of this congregation. They use the International Sunday School lesson materials for weekly studies and they have a rotating teacher's list.

The Depth Finders
Jeff Keeling, Teacher
This class usually conducts an in-depth study of a book of the Bible. The class discussions have included women of the Bible, and other important topics. Led by a journalist, expect insightful questions to help drive the discussion.

SALT Class
Lorna Crouch, Dan Lawson, Facilitators
This class focuses on study, prayer, fellowship and discussion. Most of the participants are above age 40, but everyone is welcome. Instead of having just one teacher this class engages in a mutual ministry, passing the teaching responsibilities around among each other, occasionally bringing in people — other members of Grandview Christian Church or people from other fellowships.

College Age Class — 9:30am
Andy Irvin, Teacher
This class provides college-aged people the opportunity to study scripture with an eye toward issues that concern them most. You will find an eclectic list of topics in use in this class.

College Age Class — 11:00am
John-Paul Abner, Teacher
This college-age class uses a discussion based teaching model to explore scripture about a variety of topics such as money, rest, play, and biblical perspectives from Ecclesiastes, Proverbs and the Gospels.

Koinonia Class
Joe Wise, Facilitator
The Greek word "Koinonia" can be translated "fellowship," "partnership," or "sharing." We live up to our name by sharing in various events and projects beyond the classroom.The approximate age range is 25-45. Various class members participate in the teaching. Recent studies have included "Toward a Biblical Understanding of Women in the Church," "The New Testament letter of James,” “Paul and his World," "Difficult Old Testament Texts," and "Science and the Bible."

Explorer's Class
Rich Rairigh, Facilitator
This class is comprised of adults in their mid 30's to upper 70's. The class strives to model the first century church by spending time together in fellowship and prayer and through study and personal application of scripture. The class tends to follow more of a discussion format; however, Bible study and discussion of the teachings presented within the scriptures remain central to each lesson.

Faith and Living Class
Various Teachers, Leni Jackson Coordinator
This class is an adult Bible study that seeks to apply God's word to daily life. By reading, studying and discussing Scripture, they build community, strengthen faith and strive to reflect the love of God to others. Recent studies have included the Minor Prophets and a survey of "people in the Bible you should know" and dealing with "making tough choices" — exploring how scriptures guide the decision making of Christians regarding many issues of the day.
