Aaron Wymer - Senior Minister

Aaron Wymer is in his 12th year as senior minister at Grandview. He is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary (DMin 09), Emmanuel School of Religion (MDiv 95) and the University of Florida (BS 89). Aaron and his wife, Cynthia, have three daughters. Aaron grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana where he was baptized, married and ordained at North Liberty Christian Church. He enjoys running (doesn’t do it as often as he should!), riding motorcycles, and trying to keep at least one eye on pop culture.

Aaron keeps an informal blog going. You are welcome to check it out...

Anna Jones - Minister to Children

Anna joined the staff at Grandview in May of 2010. She coordinates our children programming, including our Wednesday night programming that we call Two4Two. She is from Grand Rapids, Michigan and is a graduate of Grand Valley State. She recently gave Tony Jones the honor of becoming her husband. She enjoys running, being with friends, and bringing smiles to those around her. Anna and Tony have been members since 2009.

Ryan Bader - Minister of Worship Arts

Ryan is a native of East Tennessee, born and raised in Johnson City. He attended Hales Chapel Christian Church in his youth and was a member of the youth ministry led by Curtis Booher, now youth ministry professor at Milligan College. After graduating from Science Hill high school, Ryan attended Milligan College to pursue his calling to ministry. After graduation in 2000, he began serving as youth minister with First Christian Church in Erwin, TN, where he remained for five and a half years. In January of 2006, Ryan followed God's leading to Grandview where he serves as minister to youth and young adults. In addition to youth ministry, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Beth, and children, Anna, Luke and Caroline, playing and watching sports, reading interesting books, laughing at good jokes, pretending to work out at the gym and writing incredible screenplays (that last one is more of a fantasy!).

Greg Coley - Minister to Youth and Young Adults

Greg was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. He has been granted all the rights, privileges, and honors appertaining to someone who graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill (BA-Chinese History; ask me about it sometime) and Emmanuel School of Religion (MAR-Christian Doctrine). Greg has served in university student ministries at Georgia Tech and Thammasat University (Bangkok, Thailand). In addition to all of that, he’s a great guy. Greg and Allison have been married since 1995 and have three children: Zula, Moses, and Jack. Greg fancies himself to be a good athlete and a crafty gamer, but the painful truth is that he’s mediocre at best.

Dennis Helsabeck - Choir Director

Dennis was born in North Carolina, but raised in Madison, Wisconsin. From his college work at the Universities of Wisconsin, Indiana and Oregon, he received degrees in history and guidance counseling. At Luther Seminary he earned an M.A. in church history. After serving as a guidance counselor in a high school near Green Bay, he worked at the University of Wisconsin and at Northwest Christian College in Eugene, Oregon. Dennis began teaching at Milligan College in 1981, and except for a stint in Brisbane, Australia at Kenmore College, remained there until his retirement from full-time teaching in 2007 (Dennis continues to teach 1 or 2 classes.) He is an Associate Professor Emeritus of History. Dennis began attending Grandview in 1981 and has served as Choir Director since 1990.
